Perth Day Tours PDF  | Print |  E-mail

Is time of a premium and do you wish to experience Perth’s wonderful natural assets? Then maybe Gondwana Connections day tours are what you are looking for.

These tours are primarily for the birders and with approximately 200 species to be found close to Perth, we can normally tick 60+ species in the day. This list could include 10 of the 15 south-west endemics. With the striking Western Rosella, the gregarious Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo and of course the elusive Red-eared Firetail all being desirable targets. Given the varied habitats within this area, we will tailor each day’s itinerary to cover your personal areas of interest. On the other hand you can allow us to present an overview of our local environs.

Day trips to Dryandra State Forest allow for a much different selection of bird species, including Bush Thick-knees, Rufous Tree Creepers, Painted Button Quail and many more. This involves 2hrs travel each way.

The cost of a full day tour is: $180 for single person and $80 for each additional person. Add to this $10p/p to above prices for the Dryandra State Forest Trip. Ask about our small group rate (4-6 persons).
